Is the plan to implement the VMS calling standards as described in the
OpenVMS documentation suite? This answers (I think) all the questions
regarding optional/missing arguments and the usage of the various
descriptors. I have to refer to this all the time when sorting out mixed
language programs (C and C++ being very much a pain in this respect).
