You seem to have chosen CONFIG_MM_VMS on the i386 platform; I have stated
it will only compile on User-Mode Linux.

There is no uml support for 2.4.20 yet, and I doubt there will be a switch
to 2.4.20 before there have been some uml-patches.
(Loosing uml-support for a while will paralyze further development for some
time. It is essential to be able to debug.)
