        You don't forget that some include and sources files are changed between
two releases of the Linux kernel. So, we have only two solutions :
1/ choice a Linux kernel, cut off its tree and patch this tree with
certain Linux kernel patches ;
2/ make FreeVMS as a Linux kernel patch, but we shall modify our patches
for each new Linux kernel.

        For me, the better choice is the first. But if you can show that it's really

the worst choice...

[Kernel Compilation]

        To successfull compile the kernel, I have added
void *journal_info; to the task_struct defined in sched.h. This field is
needed by the journalized support (2.4.15pre2).

[Logo]
        Nobody can say if the Shark logo is registered, but if it registered,
it's by Compaq. So, I will propose a logo (80*80) soon.

        Regards,

        JKB
