Bulding an OS like VMS is a <huge> work. We have to fragment in small
parts: and some of this parts are relatively OS independant. Building
a DCL clone can be done on a Unix box, thinking about filesystem can
be done on a Unix box. After that, you can add this fs to a Linux kernel,
build a 'server' for the Hurd. But for the _real_ thing, don't know
at this time the best solution...
