Hi, I just noticed the peoject on freshmeat - glad to see this is moving again.
I'm keen to help in what little spare time I can manage. I am currently the main
author and maintainer of DECnet for Linux (userspace bits anyway) as well as
LAT, both of which are obviously useful for this project.
In my "work" time I am working on Linux clustering: I can't let you have any of
my clustering code though - it's closed source :-( but the IBM DLM looks like it
might be very helpful, we are looking to use it at work:

Another thing I can provide that may be useful is an Alpha running VMS (most of
the time - some of the time it runs Linux) over a cable-modem connection so
people can SSH in and have a play.
I think the best thing for me to get on with is a project I wanted to do for
Linux anyway and that's to add transparent DECnet access to the file system - OK
you maybe don't have a fileystem yet, but you do have DECnet!
