Have maybe room for some parts.
(Unzipped 2.4.14 is 120 Mb...)
(Should be kept to a minimum as to ease tracking newer kernels;
we are going to have our replacement stuff in freemvs/sys/src etc anyway)
Space usage:
22101 arch (we need only arch/i386 as a minimum,
with 64-bits additions later?)
66300 drivers (we will not need it in the beginning, depends on what
is done on the I/O-layer. Our own drivers(1) will eventually
go into freevms/drivers/src. Most here we will never need)
9095 fs (at least some is not needed)
14371 include (most is not needed)
358 kernel
383 mm
5772 net
4874 Documentation
(1) Regarding drivers: Some instability problems with PC systems are
related to too much hardware support (much bad hardware) and
far too many untested combinations. We might want to consider that.
